Our Senior Citizens' group had gone to mount Mary Basilica for the special mass for the sick and elderly on 11th September 2023. It is an event which all senior citizens look forward to every year. We assembled at 8.15 am and breakfast was provided for 50 pilgrims. A semi luxury bus was arranged, which took us to Bandra. We reached in time for the mass. After mass we walked through the fair, buying black channa and sweets. The walk through the fair brought us to the mount Carmel church, where a special room was arranged for us. Since we had a good walk through the fair, a good appetite was built and we enjoyed our lunch. We rested for a while with a small bible quiz. Later, tea and snacks were provided and we headed back. It was a very happy and joyful day.
